2008 Wedding Year in Pictures

What a year 2008 has become! It has been such a blast working for the amazing couples whose weddings I've been fortunate to photograph. In all, I photographed 21 weddings, both big and small, in Idaho, Montana, & California. As I did last year, I have put together a slide show highlighting some of my favorite images which you can watch below. Thanks to all the great couples, their family and friends!

Wedding :: Stacy & Randy :: Hailey, Idaho

Stacy & Randy rented a home between Hailey and Ketchum for their ceremony and just barely made it into town because of all the snow we've had. Her dad even brought along his ATV in case his truck got stuck! All their family and friends were seated and accounted for as their ceremony started. I was hired for just two hours to photograph a bit of time before their ceremony, the ceremony, and then some portraits--and had to hit the ground running as preperations were in full swing. Congratulations Stacy & Roger! Here are some of your images....

Wedding :: Sarah & Peter :: Sun Valley, Idaho

This past Friday, Sarah and Peter were married in the Lady of Our Snows in Ketchum and held their reception in Sun Valley's new golf clubhouse. I love the contrast found between the Bride's and Groom's preparation for weddings. Sarah started out her day at noon having her hair done at Vertu, then Noelle met her and her bridesmaids in their room in the Sun Valley Lodge for makeup. Peter started out at about the same time at Lefty's bar & grille, then headed to the ice rink for some skating, and with a half hour left--he was in his room getting dressed! Their ceremony went off without a hitch thanks to the help of their wedding planner, Amanda Seaward. Sarah & Pete's wedding was the first in Sun Valley's new clubhouse and Fanny Horn orchestrated all the elements in the new space impeccably. Kim Stocking's band rallied the crew till about 1am when Sarah & Pete walked through their sparkler send off line and back to the Lodge's room 206--Hemingway's suite. Their slideshow follows these select images.

Congrats Sarah & Pete--fabulous wedding!
