Michelle & Trevor were treated to a beautiful wedding day in Boise this Saturday. Their ceremony was held under a gazebo at Kathryn Albertsons Park and their reception took place at the Depot. Trevor's dad's mint condition Bel Air, with only 34,000 original miles, took them from the park to the depot. Congrats Michelle & Trevor and thanks for a great weekend! Enjoy every minute of Hawaii! If and when you get to Maui, be sure to take a catamaran out to Molokini for some snorkeling, go to Hana and hike up to some of the falls and pools along the way, and if you go past Wiamea, there is a trail out on the lava beds called the kings highway that can be surreal (bring water and sure footed shoes) and a sweet nude beach out there! Also, the town of Paia had a vegan restaurant with some great burritos!
Three days ago, Melissa called asking if I had a few hours available to shoot their intimate, family only, wedding that took place Friday. I was hesitant at first as I had to get to leave that afternoon to drive to Boise for Michelle and Trevor's rehearsal (& wedding). But, I am so glad I said yes. Melissa, her three son's and folks, along with Troy's folks, were their attendees at Rotary Park which lies along the Big Wood River on Ketchum Northwestern side. We shot some portraits at Sun Valley before their ceremony and Adam's gulch just after. The boys were psyched to throw rocks into the river right before the ceremony and held it together pretty well during-considering the temptation that lay just below their feet!

Last night I heard about a fire that was happening down at Silver Creek--one of my favorite fishing spots. So, I jumped in my car and jetted down there to get some pictures. The authorities wouldn't let me close to the fight, but I managed to find a vantage point that showed the creek and the fire....

Here are a few images from Peter & Brenda's wedding this past weekend. These two live in Chicago and have family ties to the Wood River Valley. Their reception was held at a private home out Greenhorn Gulch. Bistro 44 prepared a spectacular dinner and a four piece band kept things rolling.

8.8.08, "The Big Ocho" as Erika & Jeremy called their wedding day! The alignment of eights brought with it a great day full of preparation by friends and family, crazy weather, a beautiful ceremony, and a fun party with a Mexican theme. Their wedding was held at one of their friends ranch just South of Bellevue. The cervesa and margaritas were flowing and their guests danced until Erika & Jeremy hopped into their VW bus and drove off. Here are some pics...
